The Magician

The Magician is Major Arcana I, the first deliberate act after The Fool's open beginning. The card is less about wishing for an outcome than about understanding what the situation requires, choosing a method, and using available tools with purpose.

Upright, The Magician suggests that you have enough information or ability to begin shaping the outcome. Clarify your aim, gather what you need, and direct your effort instead of waiting for ideal conditions. Confidence matters here when it is supported by preparation and honest execution.

Reversed, talent may be scattered, underused, or employed to create an impression rather than a result. It can also warn of persuasive language without substance. Check incentives, verify claims, and bring one concrete action into alignment with what you say you want.
